HABITAT: It is grown all over the India, more in west and south India. It is also grown in Sri Lanka.
BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION:
A small to medium size tree about 8m high, oblong- lanceolate. Its leaves are minutely serrate. The flowers are solitary, pink or nearly white. The fruit is drupe, 3-6cm long with tough flesh. The Seeds are flattened, long and oval.
