THERAPEUTIC USES:
- Jwara – leaves of patola and decoction of dhanyaka are given in fever.
- Twakavikara – leaves paste is applied on the skin in skin disorders.
- Netraroga – ghee prepared with patola is useful to treat eye problems.

Varnya (good for skin), deepen (appetizer), vrishya (aphrodisiac), jwarahara (anti-pyretic), kushthghna (treat skin disorders)
