FORMULATION COMPOSITION :-

Each 5 mgs. contains:

Pipali (Piper longum)-4.25%, Pipala mool (Piper longum root)-4.25%,  Dhania (Coriandrum sativum)-4.25%, Kala jeera (Nigella Sativa)-4.25%, Sandhav lavan (Rock salt)-4.25%, Vidd lavan (Vidd Salt)-4.25%, Tej patra (Cinnamomum inners)-4.25%, Talis patra (Abeis webbiana)-4.25%, Nagkesar (Mesua ferrea)-4.25%, Kali marich (Piper nigrum)-2.12%, Savet jeera (Cuminum cyminum)-2.12%, Saunth (Zingiber officinalis)-2.12%, Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)-1.06%, Sukshm Ela (Elettaria cardamomum)-1.06%, Samundra lavan (Sea salt)-17.02%, Amalvetas (Garcinia pedunculata)-4.25%, Anardana (Punica granatum)-21.25%, Krishan lavan (Black salt)-10.63%, Nimbu sat (Citric acid)-0.21%.

DOSE :-

2 to 4 gms. or as directed by the physician.

THERAPEUTIC USE :

Digestive, carminative, appetizer and thus useful in anorexia, dyspepsia, constipation & all other abdominal disorders.

ANUPAN  :-

To be taken with plain water or as directed by the physician.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Calculate the quantity of the drugs mentioned under the LAVANBHASKAR CHURNA as per text (Sharangdhar Samhita) and as per master formulary record of the pharmacyfor the required batch & quantity.
2. Accurately weigh the tested drugs from the raw material store and clean them properly to exclude physical impurities/foreign materials. Again weigh the drugs and adjust their weight loss according to the master formula.
3. Clean the pulveriser as per SCP (Standard Cleansing Procedure).
4. Coarsely powder the drugs mentioned in the Yog and sieve them from the Sieve No.100.
5. Take a sample for testing and after testing the batch, the churna is sealed and labeled in well cleaned plastic bottles as per GMP mentioned in D & C Act 1940 and the rules made there under.
