Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, in the preceding century, made a clarion call to all Aryans for a spiritual revolution which he believed was possible only with a healthy body. To fulfill the sacred desire of the Maharishi, D.A.V. Pharmacy, Jalandhar was started at Lahore in 1998 as a part of Dayanand Ayurvedic College which functions under the D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi.
