MAJOR CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS: The rootbark of the plant Acacia farnesina Wild. contain leucophleol, leucoxol and leucophleoxol. The plant also contains Aromadendrin, Naringenin, Galloylglucose, Ethyl Gallate as the other chemical constituent

THERAPEUTIC USES:

  • Dental caries: Decoction of plant is used for gargling.
  • Diarrhea: Decoction of bark of plant is taken internally.
  • Inflammation: Paste prepared from the powder of the heart wood is applied to treat localized inflammation, pain.
  • Cough: Decoction of the plant is also used in 40-50ml to treat cough.
  • Wound bleeding: Paste of irimeda seed is used.

INDICATIONS:

Kustha leprosy, Kandū itching, Tvagvikāra skin disorder, Rakta (asuddhi) vikāra blood disorder, Mukharoga-dantaroga mouth disorders, Krmiroga worm infections, Kasa cough.

USEFUL PART: Stem, bark, heart wood

DOSAGE: Decoction 40-50 ml
