HABITAT: Native to the Mediterranean region, now cultivated in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh

BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION:

Habit is annual herb 30-50 cm tall. Stem is slender,glabrous and branched ,Grey or dark green in colour. Leaves are 5-10 cm long pinnacle or bipinnate. Flowers are small, umbelleated,white or pink in colour. Seeds are oblong longitudinally ridged,yellow brown in colour.
