HABITAT: Generally found in Mexico.

BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION:

A medium sized subshrub, upto 1m.

Stem- Purplish green; glandular hairy, sticky.

Leaf- opposite, simple, leaf apex is acute.

Flower- In axillary or terminal racemes; purple with yellow throat. Flowering throughout year.

Fruit- Ovoid drupe with 2 apical curved beaks splitting into 2 valves.

Seeds- oblong
