BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION:
It is a Herb. Leaves are Simple, opposite. Flowers are Bisexual, White and purple, terminal and axillary. Fruit are Capsule, Oblong.

THERAPEUTIC USES:
- Nausea and vomiting- In case of nausea and vomiting paste of kalmegha is given with honey.
- Jaundice and Fever- The decoction of Kalmegha is given in a dose of 20-30ml.
- Blood purifier- The cold infusion of plant is given in a dose of 40-50 ml to treat impurity of blood.
- Eczema –The paste of the plant is used to treat skin diseases.
- Malaria-The powder of kalamegha is given in a dose of 2-3 gm with powder of black pepper.

Yakrit vikar Liver disorders, Daah Burning sensation, Jwar Fever, krimighana Worm infestation.
