HABITAT: Cultivated throughout India upto 2000 ft. abundantly cultivated in Gangetic plains.
BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION:
An annual. 60-150 cm. high, under shrub or shrub. Leaves are broadly ovate, coarsely dentate, the lowest ones lyrate and slightly hispid and upper ones lanceolate, all stalked
dark green in colour. Flowers are corymbose racemes stalked, bright yellow.Fruits are siliqua, 2-5 cm. long, oblong-linear.Seeds are brounish-red, tiny.

- In case of skin disorders with itching & pain mustard paste local application help you to relive from them.
- 01-02 pinch of warm mustard powder taken with honey help to get reliev from Chronic cough & Acute Rhinitis.
- Local Application of Warm Mustard Oil mixed With Saindhav Lavan in case of Rheumatoid Arthritis is helpful to get relive from symptoms.
- 25ml of mustard oil is heated and then 02 pinch of Saindhava Lavana is added on cooling Apply this to Nasa arsha Nasal Polyp.Also you can apply this externally on Arsha Pile mass.
