HABITAT: Found in the lower Himalayas and in the Western ghats at higher elevation.
BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION:
Habit is medium-sized tree. Leaves are ovate lanceolate, spearhead, with wavy and somewhat dentate margin. Flowers are white. Fruit is round or oval, purplish in colour.
