HABITAT: Grows in shady forests in different part of India from Punjab eastwards to nepal sikkim assam and bhutan and also in certain parts of central India and western ghats.

BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION: The undershrub 1-3 in height, leaves in whorls of 3 or 4, shining green above and pale beneath elliptic lanceolate or obovate acute or accuminate, inflorescence many flower cymes, corolla white with red tinge.
