FORMULATION COMPOSITION :-
Each capsule of 500 mg contains:
Codtumbi, Ajwain, Saindhavlavana, Heeng, Shunthi, Maricha, Pippali
THERAPEUTIC USE :–
Gas, Afara, Acidity, Apachan, Pet-dard
DOSAGE :-
2 capsules twice a day or as directed by the physician.
| METHOD OF PREPARATION | 1. Calculated the quantity of the drugs mentioned under CAPSULE PACHAK VAIDYA as mentioned in the master formulary record of the pharmacy for the required batch and quantity. 2. Accurately weighed the drugs according to the batch from the raw material store and cleaned to discard foreign materials. Again weighed the drugs and adjusted their weight loss. 3. Required amount of salt was added to Ajwain and then Ajwain was kept inside the codtumbi fruit for 21 days. After that it was taken out and dried. 4. Heeng was roasted in desi ghee for purification purpose and powdered. 5. Finely powdered the drugs mentioned in the yoga and sieved through Sieve No. 100 which should be cleaned as per SCP (Standard Cleaning Procedure). 6. All the drugs were weighed individually and mixed in mass mixture for about 30minutes. 7. The empty gelatin capsules were filled with the powder of drugs in capsule filling machine which was cleaned as per its SCP (Standard Cleaning Procedure). During the process temperature and related humidity was maintained. 8. The capsule was weighed for its accurate weight after five minutes interval and then it was cleaned with clean cloth to remove powder particles. 9. Withdrew the sample for testing and after testing the batch was released for packing in the containers. 10. The capsules were packed in well cleaned containers along with silica crystals packets as per SCP (Standard Cleansing Procedure) and as per requirement and labelled. |
