FORMULATION COMPOSITION :-

Each 5 gms. contains:

Patha (Cissampelos pareira), Kuth (Saussurea lappa), Mustak (Cyperus rotundus), Atees (Aconitum heterophylum), Aam guthli (Mangifera indica), Jamun guthli (Syzygium cumini), Shudh rasanjjan (Berberis aristata), Pashanbhed (Saxifrage ligulata), Patla (Stereospermum Suaveolens), Shyonak (Oroxylum indicum), Bilvaphal (Aegle marmelos), Shalmali mool (Salmalia malabarica), Manjeeth (Rubia cordifilia), Rakta chandan (Pterocorpus santalinus), Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa), Indra yav (Citrullus colocynthis), Geru (Gairik), Kayphal (Myrica esculenta), Marich (Piper nigrum), Arjun chhal (Terminalia Arjuna), Saunth (Zingiber officinalis), Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus), Munakka (Vitis vinifera), Nagkesar (Mesua ferrea)-4.16% each of the above ingredients.

DOSE :-

2 gms to 3 gms or as directed by the physician

THERAPEUTIC USE :–

Useful in all kinds of specific and non-specific leucorrhoea of various etiology, menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, prolapse of uterus & also useful in diarrhoea, dysentery & bleeding piles.

ANUPAN  :-

To be taken with water or milk  or as directed by the physician

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Calculate the quantity of the drugs mentioned under the PUSHYANUG CHURNA in AFI-I (7:23) and as per master formulary record of the pharmacy for the required batch & quantity.
2. Accurately weigh the tested drugs from the raw material store and clean them properly to exclude physical impurities/foreign materials . Again weigh the drugs and adjust their weight loss according to the master formula.
3. Clean the pulveriser as per SCP (Standard Cleansing Procedure).
4. Coarsely powder the drugs mentioned in the Yog and sieve them from the Sieve No.100.
5. Take a sample for testing and after testing the batch, the churna is sealed and labeled in well cleaned plastic bottles as per GMP mentioned in D & C Act 1940 and the rules made there under.
