FORMULATION COMPOSITION :-

Each 5 mgs. contains:

Sounth (Zingiber officinalis)-4%, Pippali (Piper longum)-4%, Marich (Piper nigrum)-4%, Harad (Terminalia chebula)-4%, Bahera (Terminalia bellerica)-4%, Amla (Emblica officinalis)-4%, Sandhav lavan (Rock salt)-4%, Vidd lavan (salt)-4%, Krishan lavan (Black salt)-4%, Yavkshar (Alkalies)-4%, Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi)-20%, Nimb patra (Melia azardirachta)-40%

DOSE :-

1 to 4 gms. or as directed by the physician.

THERAPEUTIC USE :–

Useful in gout, & Rheumatism, purifies blood, removes constipation, helpful in many skin diseases like pruritis, dermatosus, urticaria, acni and pimples, dry and wet eczema.

ANUPAN :-

To be taken with water or as directed by the physician.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Calculate the quantity of the drugs mentioned under the NIMBADI CHURNA in AFI-I (7:20) and as per master formulary record of the pharmacy for the required batch & quantity.
2. Accurately weigh the tested drugs from the raw material store and clean them properly to exclude physical impurities/foreign materials. Again weigh the drugs and adjust their weight loss according to the master formula.
3. Clean the pulveriser as per SCP (Standard Cleansing Procedure).
4. Coarsely powder the drugs mentioned in the Yog and sieve them from the Sieve No.100.
5. Take a sample for testing and after testing the batch, the churna is sealed and labeled in well cleaned plastic bottles as per GMP mentioned in D & C Act 1940 and the rules made there under.
